Specific online gaming conditions of use

These conditions apply to online participation through an account on this site. They sit on top of the general terms and conditions and, on the subjects they cover, they are the ones that apply.

Last updated: 21 August 2026

01 Scope and priority

These conditions govern online participation: the account, its funding, how a participation is registered, what happens when something is interrupted, and which records determine the outcome.

Where these conditions and the general terms and conditions deal with the same subject, these conditions prevail for online gaming. Both are subordinate to the Act respecting the Société des loteries du Québec and the by-laws made under it, which prevail over either document.

02 The online account

An account is required to participate online. It is personal and may be used only by its holder.

The account is the record of your participation: what was registered, when, and under which game rules. Information displayed elsewhere — a screenshot, a message, a third-party site — has no effect on what the account records.

03 Eligibility to participate online

Online participation requires that you are 18 or over, that the account is held by you, that your identity is capable of verification, and that you are physically located where participation is permitted at the moment you participate.

These requirements are cumulative. Meeting three of them does not make participation valid.

04 Funding the account

Funds may only be added through the payment methods available in the account, and only from a means of payment held in your own name.

Deposit limits apply to the account as a whole. Where a deposit would exceed a limit you have set, it is refused: the limit is not overridden by the size or the source of the deposit.

05 Location controls

Where the applicable rules require participation to take place within a given territory, controls may be applied to establish your location at the moment of participation.

Attempting to conceal or misrepresent your location — including through tools designed for that purpose — is a breach of these conditions and may result in a participation being void.

06 Interactive and telematic games

Each game is governed by its own rules, made under the Act. Those rules determine what a valid participation is, how the outcome is established and how prize categories are structured.

For instant games, the outcome of a ticket is determined by the system when the ticket is issued. The animation that follows displays a result that has already been settled; it does not produce it, and interrupting it does not change it.

07 Results and settlement

A draw result is established according to the rules of the game concerned and is published after the draw has taken place. Nothing is published in advance of a draw.

Where the display of a result differs from what the operator’s system records, the system records determine the outcome. A result that appears in error confers no entitlement.

08 Technical interruptions

The site and the games may be unavailable from time to time, whether for maintenance, a technical fault, or a cause outside the operator’s control.

An interruption during participation does not by itself void it: the position is determined by whether the participation was registered in the system before the interruption. Where it was registered, it stands; where it was not, it did not take place.

09 Cancelled participation

A participation may be cancelled where the applicable rules provide for it, where it was registered in breach of these conditions, or where it was affected by an established error.

What happens to the amount paid for a cancelled participation is determined by the rules of the game concerned. This document does not set out amounts or timelines of its own.

10 Authoritative records

The operator’s system records are the authoritative record of participation, of results and of transactions on the account.

This is not a formality: it is what makes a result verifiable. It also means that a device failure, a browser problem or a lost connection on your side does not change what was recorded.

11 Responsible gambling controls

Deposit, wagering and session-time limits, breaks and self-exclusion are available from the account and take effect on the account as a whole.

  • A reduction of a limit applies immediately.
  • An increase takes effect only after a delay, shown in the account before you confirm it.
  • A break suspends access to play for the period chosen and ends automatically.
  • A self-exclusion blocks access and stops promotional communications for the whole period, and cannot be lifted early.

Account closure is an administrative step and is not equivalent to any of the above.

12 Prohibited conduct online

  • Using an account other than your own, or letting someone else use yours.
  • Using automated means to participate, or to interact with the site or its systems.
  • Interfering with, or attempting to interfere with, the operation of a game or of the site.
  • Concealing or misrepresenting your location where location controls apply.
  • Participating while subject to a self-exclusion or a suspension.

13 Online security

Keep your credentials to yourself, sign out on shared devices, and treat any message asking for your password as fraudulent regardless of how it is presented.

The operator applies technical and organisational measures to protect the account and the systems behind it. No measure removes the need for basic care on your side.

14 Suspension and closure of the online account

An online account may be suspended or closed where these conditions are breached, where verification cannot be completed, where a legal requirement applies, or where there are reasonable grounds to protect the holder or the integrity of the games.

Where an account is suspended, participation already registered is dealt with under the rules of the game concerned.
