01 What cookies and equivalent storage are
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser so that it can recognise a setting on a later visit. localStorage and sessionStorage are equivalent mechanisms built into the browser: they store a value on your device rather than sending it back with every request.
They are grouped here by what they do, because that is what determines whether your consent is required.
02 Necessary items
These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off, because switching them off would mean losing your consent choice on every page load. Your language is not stored: it is part of the address of each page.
They record only what they need to: a single consent decision, and nothing else. They do not identify you and are not used to build a profile.

04 Marketing

05 How consent works here
- Nothing non-essential runs before you choose. The banner appears before any such item would load.
- Refusing is one click, in the same place and the same weight as accepting.
- Categories are separate: analytics and marketing are accepted or refused independently.
- Your choice is stored on your device only, so that you are not asked again on every page.
06 Changing or withdrawing consent
You can reopen the settings at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page, change your categories, and save. A withdrawal takes effect immediately for anything loaded afterwards.
07 Browser settings
Every current browser lets you block or delete cookies and clear site storage, independently of the settings on this site. The controls are usually found under privacy or site data.
Deleting the storage of this site removes your recorded consent, which means the banner will appear again on your next visit.
08 What happens if you disable them
Blocking the necessary items means the site cannot remember your consent choice: it will keep asking on every page. Your language is unaffected, because it is carried by the address rather than stored on your device.
Refusing analytics and marketing has no effect at all on how the site works, and that is deliberate.
09 Updates to this policy
This page is updated whenever the inventory changes. The date of the current version appears at the top of the page.
